The village is a maze of narrow, steep cobbled, streets with white-washed houses. Although the predominant colour in this village is the white one , you will find all kind of colourful plants decorating balconies, windows, terraces, doors, gates

Frigiliana is also important from an historical point of view. El Fuerte, the hill that climbs above the village, was the scene of the final bloody defeat of the Moors of La Axarquía in their 1569 rebellion.

Walking around Frigiliana and discovering the Spanish History.
